Price: $12.00 CAD plus tax (free shipping), Number of items: 4-5

I received all my subscription boxes while I was away in Europe! I’ll be sharing what I received over the next few days! Let’s start off with Topbox.

Topbox is a Canadian monthly box that introduces customers to make-up, skin care, hair care and other neat things. Every month, subscribers are also given the opportunity to choose a Prive box in which a particular brand is showcased exclusively. If you want to learn more about Topbox or to Subscribe click here

What I Received:

1.Cite London Nail Lacquer (I don’t recall the colour name but it’s a Coral)

Full Size Price: $15.00 (13.5mL), this is a full size product
Full Size Price: $15.00, this is a full size product

Although my picture doesn’t do this nail lacquer justice, I received a very vibrant coral colour. Unfortunately while writing this post I didn’t have the lacquer on hand to tell you what colour it is but I will say it’s pretty bright and fun. I’ve seen Ciate products at Sephora so I’m happy to see a sample of this in my box to try out.

2.Nova Scotia Fisherman Extreme Skin Care Balm

Full Size Price: $11.95 (30mL), Sample Price: $3.98 (10mL)

When I first looked at this I thought it was a straight lip balm, but it is actually an intense moisture body balm. It uses natural plant based ingredients to relieve irritated skin. You can use it on trouble areas such as chaffed, callused, cracked or sore skin. My hands and lips get extremely dry during the winter so this will be completely useful then. The smell is a pretty intense lavender but I don’t mind it. Plus it’s actually made in Nova Scotia! Love when Topbox showcases Canadian brands ❤

3. Aveda be curly style-prep

Full Size Price: $24.00 (100mL), Sample Price: $4.8 (20mL) - for the two

This hair moisturizer claims to tame frizz, add moisture and define curls. I know Aveda is a good hair brand so I trust that they can deliver. I received a range of Aveda products from Topbox before and although I’m not in love with the smell I do like the way these products work on my hair. I tend to wear my hair straight rather than curly, but when I do curl it, I like that I can use this product to help enhance my look. I also appreciate that there were two samples included here.

4. So Susan Lip Dome in Rhubarb Rouge

Full Size Price: $12.00 (2.5g), this is a full size product

This plumping lip tint is designed to be a hybrid between a stain and a balm. Wearing it on my lips I do get great colour and I feel my lips are moisturized in the process so I can probably agree with that statement. The only thing is I don’t notice it plumping the lips. I love this rouge colour, kind of like a raspberry. This also has a really yummy berry smell which I’m completely in love with it.

My Thoughts

I’m pretty happy with this Topbox. I like the range the products, the skin balm and style prep for curly hair for instance are not products I’ve received before. Total Value of my box is $35.78.
