This month’s theme is fun-for-fall products and how the power of beauty can change your mood. This month is also Breast Cancer awareness month, hence why the box is pink, and they have teamed up with Look Good, Feel Better Foundation which is an organization that helps Canadian women with cancer look and feel beautiful and confident.
What I Received:
1. Catherine Maladrino Perfume Style de Paris
The description of this scent is that it combines bright fruits and florals in an elegant vibe. Now I can’t pinpoint exactly what this smell is but it’s very refreshing. It doesn’t smell too fruity or florally – it’s just a nice clean, light scent and I’m soo in love with it.
2. Eyeko Black Magic Mascara
I’ve received this mascara before in my Topbox and I do remember really liking it. The colour was a nice intense black and the shape of the brush really made it easy to apply and get a good amount of volume and thickness. I’m happy that I’m seeing this again. It’s great when you get another sample of a sample you know you’ve liked before 🙂
3. Harvey Prince Hello Body Creme
I have been so curious about this product and smell. I’ve watched a bit of elevengorgeous on youtube and every time they receive a product from this brand they get really excited so I’m happy to finally receive something that I can try myself. Again, I love the clean and light smell of this product. I’m happy that I’ve received this in a creme so that I can wrap my skin in this awesome smell!
4.Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel for sensitive skin
Hurray for a peel designed for sensitive skin! This peel has fruit-derived acids to exfoliate dead skin.
5.ModelCo Ultra Long-Lastig Lipstick – in Siletto
This is such a nice bold colour! I really hope that this is as long-lasting as the product says so that I can wear it all day.

Birchbox has been sending out some amazing boxes lately and this is just another one full of products that I can’t wait to try out! Total value of my box $33.03.

My skin was too sensitive for the Juice Beauty Sensitive Skin Peel. I couldn’t even leave it on for the full time – my skin turned lobster red and I had to slather my face in aloe gel to calm it down! Hopefully you won’t have a problem. 🙂

Oh no! My skin isn’t super sensitive so hopefully I don’t have the same issue. How unfortunate and a bit misleading to market something for sensitive skin when it certainly doesn’t seem to be

It could just be as simple as me having a sensitivity to one of the ingredients. I have no idea. I gave it to my mom and she had no problem whatsoever!
