Unboxing: Ipsy, November 2015

Main

Price: $10.00 USD (plus $4.95 shipping to Canada) Number of items: 4-5 (plus a cute bag for each month)

Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that introduces customers to new hair and beauty products, each month the products are sent in a cute reusable bag!

This month’s theme is beauty blast, I’m guessing the products should be out of this world 😛

What I Received:

1.Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer

This luminizer is water based and cruelty free. It has a really pretty rosey tint that I do like and hope will compliment my skin.

2. Crown Blending Brush

Crown
Full Size Price: $5.72, this is a full size item

I was actually really needing a blending brush when this came in the mail! Unlike what Ipsy had on the website, my brush isn’t really that pointed (it’s more fluffy) but it is a nice soft brush that I can see myself using.

3. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

Smashbox
Full Size Price: $22.50 (11mL), Sample Price: $6.14 (3mL)

This mascara is meant to help create long, full lashes. No clumps, no flakes. I’ve tried Smashbox’s full exposure mascara before and thought it was good but didn’t wow me enough to replace any of my current mascaras with.

4. Absolute New York Nano Liner

This liner is super thin and a really striking black and I really like that. It is water-resistant, fade-resistant, and smudge-resistant. I did read reviews that it was water-resistant which is awesome because my eyes get watery in the winter and I tend to line my lower lash line.

5. Figs & Rouge Mattifying Emulsion & Pore Refiner

Figs and Rouge
Full Size Price: $48.60 (30mL), Sample Price: $24.30 (15mL)

Information on the Ipsy website stated that this provides sheer matte coverage for daily shine control. Unfortunately for me, I suffer with the opposite issue, dry, dull skin :(. I was really excited to try it, but I may have to leave it for the summer when the weather is warmer and I’ll need something to control shine. It also helps reduce blemishes and breakouts with daily use.

My Thoughts

I really do like the value of this box, it’s $73.01! That’s pretty incredible, I thought my math was really off but after reading another blog post I guess Ipsy just scored its subscribers some really nice samples! I do like most products in this box.
