Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that introduces customers to new hair and beauty products. I think this month’s theme is the dreamers. I’ve lost the little card the bag came with so I’m not entirely sure if I’m right.

Novex Deep Conditioning Hair Mask

This mask is the best smelling product I’ve ever received!!! It smells like those multi-coloured candy gums I used to get from the dispensing machines as a child and it is bringing me back to simpler times. The oil claims to be the most powerful moisturizer and protect hair from free radicals. You use this mask as a deep treatment after shampooing and then rinse off. I really can’t wait to try this out (mostly because I want my shower to smell amazing!)

Juliette has a gun parfumsI think I saw this on Sephora recently. This is a brand created by the grandson of Nina Ricci  (I own a few perfumes from her that I absolutely love!) What I’m confused about is that they are marketing this as not a perfume but as “a molecular composition, and will not resemble to anything you’ve tested before” huh? I don’t get what that really means because when I sprayed it on it smelled like perfume and honestly I wasn’t too impressed.

Tarte LipSurgence Lip Creme in Wonder

Oh!!!I love Tarte!! I was super happy to see this in my bag! So cute and the colour is very bold. I’ve really been loving nudes lately so I’m not sure when I’ll wear this, but I know that when I feel like a coral/red I will be turning to this. This comes on very pigmented and it’s more like a lipstick. Very pretty on, I like it!

Trust Fund Beauty That Glo Highlighter

I received a nail polish from this brand not too long ago through top box that I really liked but I didn’t think they were a full makeup line. This highlighter has a rose tint that I think would look great on tan skin, but I could probably use it on top of my blush for some extra shine or on my lids. I actually just put it on top of my lips over the Tarte lipstick and it’s made it pop like a gloss would. This product is also vegan and free from harmful toxins.

Last by not least, another brush from Ipsy!! This is a blush brush that I can see myself using because it’s just really nicely tapered. I like the duo bristles and how soft it feels. It also has two indents to make holding it much easier. Always love receiving brushes!

My Thoughts

I really like this box and all the items I’ve received. Even with the dollar difference, I think I get the best value from Ispy. Total value, $68.29 CAD.
