Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that introduces customers to new hair and beauty products. So travel inspired.

1.Nots Acne Pore Deep Cleanser

Sometimes Ipsy disappoints and sends me a product that is not geared for my skin. I’m positive that I never put acne prone skin in my profile yet somehow this landed in my bag. This is a Korean makeup and skincare line that uses organic ingredients. This helps clean pores and hydrate skin. It sounds really great, I just wish it was made for my skin type. I know a few people who could use this so I’ll pass it along to them.

2.Mellow Matte Lipstick in Nude 

This is such a pretty colour. More nudes! More nudes! I’ve become so obsessed with them lately. This looks to be a nude on a berry tint which is going to be really pretty for this season.

3.Jersey Shore Spa Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm in Lavender

I haven’t opened this yet, but I’ve never come across a lip balm in Lavendar so I’m very intrigued. I love that this is made by a family owned company that makes products free of harsh chemicals, non-toxic, eco-friendly and are baby-safe.

4. Aurora Gel Effect Nail Laquer in Safety Orange

This orange is super neon and bright. I didn’t think I was going to like it until I put it on one nail. It’s so in your face and fun that I am totally going to rock it on my toes with sandals this summer. I did one coat on my nail and it was super pigmented and felt very gel-like. It was also very chip resistant. They have great range of colours, I’d be interested in trying more from this line.

5.Smashbox X-Rated Mascara

I was completely out of mascara so I went to the drug store and bought two. Now after my Ipsy Unboxing and Genbeauty I have 7! So many to use up. This mascara is designed to be layered, you can start off with one layer for a natural look but then build it up for more drama. I’m really loving it.

My Thoughts

Ipsy was pretty good this month, minus the acne wash. I know I will use the other 4 items I received. Total value: $56.00!
