Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

This is a tiny 0.5 oz tube of primer but I enjoy this product so much that I’m always happy with a new tube no matter what the size. This photo finish primer helps to smooth my skin before I apply makeup and it doesn’t make me feel dry.

Crown Brush Jumbo Kabuki Fan Brush
Retail Price: $18.99 US
This fan brush is large enough to use for powder which is probably what I would use this for. The synthetic bristles are super soft I can imagine it’ll be really nice for setting powder.

Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Palette

I’ve never heard of Naked Cosmetics and there isn’t too much information on them on their website. I do know they are a US brand that started in 2005 and they sell their products in salons. I was really impressed with the pigmentation in these shadows. I wouldn’t usually wear these colours but they are actually really beautiful for pops of colour. They are really shimmery and soft to the touch.

RealHer Matte Liquid Lipstick in I Am a Rockstar

I was reading some information about this brand and OMG I am so inspired! Their mission is to “bring out the best in the modern woman: to know her worth, to feel proud of her individuality, to love each and every one of her flaws, and to not fear who she really is.”  They also donate 20% of all gross profits to the American Association of University Women. Even the name of their products represent something empowering! I am all over this! On top of that this liquid lipstick is gorgeous. I love the deep blood red colour. It dries matte and is virtually smudge proof. This packaging is also really awesome. Also! This is certified cruelty free, made with natural ingredients, paraben free. All the products are infused with shea butter, jojoba seed oil, hyaluronic acid.

RealHer Lip Liner in I Am Loved
Retail Price: $12.50 US
After learning a bit more about this brand I’m really excited to receive another product from them. The lip liner matches perfectly with the matte liquid lipstick. This is a really creamy lip liner that glides so easily on my lips.

My Thoughts
I am so happy with this box again, mostly because it has introduced me to RealHer which I’m really excited to try. I’m always happy to receive a Smashbox Primer and love getting more brushes and will probably use the eyeshadow trio whenever I need pops of colour. Total Value of this box: $102.50 US ($138.10 CAD)
