In my previous posts I have written about my morning routine and my summer makeup routine and I wanted to include my night time routine now to round it all up!Summer Night Time Routine LBL (2)On most days I wear makeup so I will use micellar water and/or makeup wipes to remove it. I have been using Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O to remove my eye makeup. I did a review of Bioderma which you can see here. I then use a makeup wipe to remove makeup from the rest of my face and down my neck. I’ve been using the Sephora’s Rose Cleansing Wipes. These wipes are OK. The wipe itself can feel stiff and a bit irritating if I use it around my eyes, but for everywhere it works pretty well and I can feel it hydrating slightly after I use it. Once a week I will switch out the Sephora wipe with my Anthony Glycolic Exfoliating & Resurfacing Wipes.
Summer Night Time Routine LBL (6)These wipes have a rough texture so it would irritate my skin if I used it too often but I do love the wipes whenever I want to deep cleanse and exfoliate my skin.

Next, I wash my face with my MUJI Foam Face Wash for sensitive skin. I read a lot of rave reviews about this company from StashmattersĀ (she gives the best and most thorough reviews!) so when I passed by the store I had to go in and check it out! I absolutely love this cleanser!
Summer Night Time Routine LBL (3)It’s gentle so I can use this around my eyes and doesn’t feel harsh on my skin but it really helps remove any remaining residue and leaves my skin feel squeaky clean.

Another cleanser that I have used on and off over the last 6 weeks is the Peter Thompson Roth anti-aging cleansing gel. I bought this gel from Sephora when I bought the Peter Thomas Roth Skin Saver set and this particular cleanser had a lot of good reviews. After using it for some time I think it’s only OK. It does not remove my makeup at all and unlike the MUJI wash, this one does irritate around my eyes. It’s fine for the days I don’t wear makeup or in the morning instead. I’m only including it here because I wanted to share my thoughts because since I have been testing it out. It claims to be anti-aging and brightens the skin with glycolic, citric and salicylic acid. I will use this product until it finishes but I don’t think I would repurchase it.
Summer Night Time Routine LBL (5)After cleansing I like to use the Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion p.m. oil since purchasing this from Sephora 6 weeks ago (see the haul here). This has 1.5% retinol and vitamin C and E and is designed for all skin types. I’m very impressed with this. I’ve been using it for about four weeks and I’ve actually noticed a difference in my skin. For instance, I do have one wrinkle that is pretty deep above my eyebrow and after placing a drop over it for the last few weeks it has definitely been less visible! I apply one drop on my forehead, around my eyes, and my laugh lines then massage it in with my fingers. I also love the way this dropper is designed. It is curved which makes it easy to drop the product directly onto my skin.
Summer Night Time Routine LBL (4)The last step in my routine is to apply a night cream and I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/Mask. This is also designed for all skin types and it’s a very thick cream. I love Estee Lauder skin care and this feels really nice on the skin. I notice in the morning I’m a lot more hydrated since I’ve started using this.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been using this series of products consistently and I feel like my skin is looking and feeling better.

There you have! This is everything I do at night. If you wanted to see my morning routine click here or if you want to see my summer makeup routine click here.

Let me know what is part of your night time routine. What steps do you take?

Lots of love,
Dal
