Topbox is a Canadian monthly beauty subscription service. Each month you have the option of getting a surprise box or to swap it for a prive box where all the products are from one brand and you know what they are. This month I opted for a prive box. It’s not from one brand, but the items are ones I know I will use.

I love Vichy items. I’ve actually been using this line for about 3 years and I love it. This is 1. Cleansing Milk, 2. Toner, 3. Eye Makeup remover. With this formula you can apply with a cotton pad and don’t have to rinse, I really love that for those nights I just feel a little lazy and want to watch TV and wash my face at the same time. haha! This is also great for sensitive skin.
Nature by Canus Shea Butter Soap
Full Size Price: $3.99 (141g)
This is another brand that I really love. I included the bubble bath in my empties in March that added some extra moisturizer. The smell of shea butter is so invigorating plus it has vitamins A and E and rich in essential fatty acids to tone and rejuvenate the skin. I use bar soaps quite a bit so love having them around.
My Thoughts
I am happy with the items in this Prive box because I wanted something different compared to the usual sample size things that I get in this subscription. I know the total value of the box is quite low ($23.94) it’s still worth more than the cost of the subscription and I got items I wanted.

I’ve been using that Vichy 3-1 as a makeup remover cleanser. I do rinse it and then go in with a gentle cleanser to make sure my face is clean. It makes me face so soft and hydrated.

All the Vichy stuff I’ve tried is nice! This was a good privé box – def better than the regular box I got 🙂 I love those Canus soaps!

Ya, it’s not a bad Prive but after reading your post on the October box I started thinking. With so many subscriptions boxes out there offering much more I think Topbox needs to step it up! I could have easily bought both the soap and Vichy wash on sale for the same price as my box. I have Boxycharm and although that costs me $30/month CAD I get well over $100 worth of Full-Size products. I’ve just been with Topbox so long it’s hard to just stop the subscription. It’s like a bad relationship I can’t get out of! haha! I’m going to give them until December to impress me, if not, then I’m out!

I have that Vichy from a Glam Sense and I keep it in the shower for days that I remove makeup in the shower. It works well. I usually do it twice though just to be thorough lol.
I used one of those soaps for the first time a few months ago and they were so nice! Really liked it!

I love Vichy skincare so I’m totally excited to try this. I’m super happy that most people’s experience with it is positive- makes me really happy I picked up this prive.
This soap smells so good- I’m trying to use up the one I currently have in the shower so I can open it up. Haha!
