Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box of full-size makeup, skincare and beauty tools. The theme for this month is “Eye Candy”. I think it’s a really cute theme and there was an eyeshadow palette included in the box!

Colourpop Semi-Precious Eyeshadow Palette
Retail Price: $29.00 USD

This is 8-pan shimmery shadow palette. I really like the range of colours in this palette and I think the pigmentation is great!

I included some swatches below. Looking on the Boxycharm website, subscribers received one of five different colourpop eyeshadow palette. I look forward to using this in some eye looks.

Tarte Tartiest Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter in Exposed
Retail Price: $29.00 USD

I don’t use too much liquid highlighter (if you’ve seen my project pan post, you understand my struggle to use up the Cover FX Liquid Highlighter sample!) I do like the shade of this highlighter and think it will work really well for my skin tone. I included a swatch below where you can see how glowy this appears. It has a few specks of sparkle but it’s not very noticeable and I really enjoyed how it looked on my shoulder so I might end up using it as a body highlight.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner
Retail Price: $47.00 USD

The description of this mask says that it will unclog and tighten the look of pores. This is made for oily/combination skin, however, I would definitely use this in areas of my face that have clogged pores such us my nose area. I always enjoy receiving Dr. Brandt items. I feel like I’ve got quite a nice collection of their skincare line through BoxyCharm so I can really test the brand out.

The Brow Gal Instatint Tinted Eyebrow Gel
Retail Price: $22.00 USD

This is a tinted eyebrow gel with microfibers that is meant to help achieve a natural hair look. My brows give me so much difficulty so I enjoy gels because they tend to hold my hairs in place. I received  this in the brown hair colour which should work on me. I didn’t want to open this because I have other brow products I’m using at the moment.

Adesse Hi-Definition Liquid Lipstick
Retail Price: $24.00 USD

This didn’t have a shade name but based on my best guess from the website I think I got Haute Cocoa, which is a pretty deep nude colour. This is a sticky formula that is really shiny and thick. It has this chocolate candy scent which I love. I read a lot of positive reviews for this so I look forward to giving it a try!

Once again BoxyCharm has sent a box of really great items. I look forward to using the Colourpop shadow palette. I’m also happy to have more Dr. Brandt items. All around this is a really awesome box. Total Value; $151.00 US ($194.45 CAD)!!

I’ve been getting BoxyCharm for a year now and I must say that I think the subscription is really great. I use so many of the items and those that I don’t use make great gifts to friends and family. I’ve been tempted to invest in one more year of these boxes, but we will see I may just continue to get 3 months at a time.
