I was pretty consistent with using the items of my Project Pan for January. I was keeping track of how many times in the month I used all the items and counted 21/31 days! I wore all the items together to create looks for work most of the time and stuck to no makeup days on the weekends.

In case you didn’t know, this is my Project Pan objective;

Project Pan Monthly

Each month I chose 4 items to use, sharing reviews of those products if they aren’t already on the blog. At the end of the month, I’ll share an update of how well I did and then list the items for the next month. The products are chosen from these categories;

  • One Eyeshadow Palette
  • One Lip Item (lipstick, lip balm, gloss, etc.)
  • One Face Item (foundation, highlighter, blush, bronzer)
  • One Random Item (can be another item from the categories above, or be something else like a mascara, liner, skin care, body care, fragrance, etc.)

My January Progress

Project Pan February (3)

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (reviewed here) – I made a dent in milk chocolate, hazelnut, salted caramel and creme brulee. They are super wearable shades so it made it easy to put looks together for work. It was fun to start using this palette again, I totally forgot just how much I really loved it.

Project Pan February (7)

Nudestix Lip and Cheek Balm in Pulse (reviewed here) – I sharpened this twice throughout the month. It doesn’t seem to have gotten shorter but I’m really proud of myself for putting in the effort to wear a lip item more often than I usually do.

Project Pan February (6)

Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Paaarty (reviewed here) – I can see the pan and although I was very good at using this deluxe sample and being very generous with my application I couldn’t hit pan like I wanted to. I think later in the year I might add this again to my Project Pan Monthly and see if I can finally reach that silver lining!

Project Pan February (8)

Benefit They’re Real Mascara in Black – One thing that I was able to use up in January was this mascara! I’ve had this for some time so I knew it was almost done but it still feels good to have one item finish during the Project Pan for January!

That’s the update for the January items. Didn’t really hit pan on any of my powder items but I did make some progress. Now on to my b-day month! February!

My February Items

This month I’ve chosen;

Project Pan February (9)

  • Eyeshadow Palette – Alamar Cosmetics Reina Del Caribe Vol. 1 (reviewed here)
  • Lip Item – Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Sheer Liar
  • Face Item – Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow
  • Random Item – Daisy by Marc Jacobs Perfume (reviewed here)

The Alamar palette is much more colourful compared to the Too Palette so I’m hoping I’ll be able to create some fun and different looks with it.

Project Pan February (16)

It’ll be a challenge too since I don’t usually wear these types of colours to work but I’ll see if I can create some and share them on my Instagram.

I also wanted to share my thoughts on the Wet n’ wild highlight and Urban Decay lipstick since I’ve never reviewed either on my blog although I have been using them quite a bit in my makeup routine.

Let me know how your project pan is coming along whether you are doing one each month like I am or doing a year-long project pan.

Lot’s of Love,
Dal
