These last few months have certainly flown by. September was pretty strange, it felt like one day it was super hot and humid and the next we immediately went into Fall and the temperature dropped. It’s a bit cooler now but I actually love when we roll into the colder months. October was fun, I went on a trip to Niagara Falls and Niagara-On-The-Lake and enjoyed wine-tasting, relaxing at the spa and playing some slots at the casino. This is the first real trip I’ve taken in a long time and I’m so happy I did! As I was prepping for this post I must admit I’m pretty happy with how many products I used up this month.
Here are the items I’ve used up;
Hair and Body Care
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash. I always love Aveeno body products. They always do a great job at cleansing the skin without leaving me feeling dry. I would definitely repurchase this.
Head & Shoulders Shampoo. A staple product in my hair care routine, I always use Head & Shoulders. While I don’t suffer from dandruff, I just like how my hair and scalp feel after I use it. I am using a different shampoo and conditioner now but I know for sure that I’m going to go back to this once it’s used up.
Eva nyc Therapy Session Hair Mask. Reviewed Here. I used this as a daily conditioner every time I washed my hair rather than as a mask to use every once in a while. I found that it was perfect for hydrating my super dry hair. I did notice that it left my hair soft and smooth. I would definitely repurchase this.
Skincare
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA. I really like that this provides mild exfoliation because I use quite a few different skincare products and I did not want to irritate my skin. I would definitely repurchase.
Indeed Labs Nanoblur. Reviewed Here. When I originally bought this product I thought I would be using it a lot more than I did. While this works well on its own, it really didn’t play nice with my makeup which is what I mostly bought it for. My foundation or powders would just look blotchy. After a while, I just found that I wouldn’t reach for it because I would worry it would ruin whatever makeup I had on. I would not repurchase this.
Ole Henriksen Glow Cycle Retin-ALT Power Serum. I loved this little purple serum. I got a good number of uses out of it even though this was a small bottle. The serum really did go a long way. I applied this every other evening and I really do think that it did keep my skin feeling smooth. I would repurchase this.
Makeup
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Reviewed Here. I absolutely love this product. It leaves my skin looking dewy. I still have a large-size Flawless Filter to use but I would definitely repurchase this product.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum. I love brush tip eyeliners and this was a great drug store dupe for many other higher priced ones (such as the KVD liner). I like this one very much that I repurchased it in black and brown.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer Deluxe. I wanted to try out this sample and see if I would like it. However, the moment I opened it and put it against my brow it broke so I never got to use it! 😦 I don’t think I’m really into this style brow product so I won’t be repurchasing it.
PUR Fully Charged Mascara Deluxe size. I got this mascara a few years of a set from Shoppers Drug Mart. At first, I didn’t love the mascara because I’m not really into the brush-type applicator. But after a few uses, I really got used to it and thought it was very flattering for an everyday look. I have lots of other mascara favourites but I would probably get this one again.

That’s all the products I used up in September and October.
What did you use up these last few months?
Lots of Love,
