I mentioned in my previous post that I ended up doing a second order on Sephora that was mostly makeup so today I thought I’d share that haul with you. It wasn’t my original intention to have two purchases, but as I was going through my makeup and items started to get low or go empty I figured now was a good time to get it while I could still use the percentage off. Plus, it’s so easy to get lured into the Sephora website because of all the cute holiday sets and new releases!
You can see what I ordered in my first haul here
Here is what I purchased;
MAC Cosmetics Studio Radiance Sheer Face & Body Foundation
I have actually been eyeing this foundation for a long while now but always stopped myself from buying it because it is pricey for a very sheer foundation (1.7 oz is $40.00 CAD). I always just ended up getting something else instead. Now that I’m going out more and working out of my office a couple days a week I have been wearing makeup a lot more. After enjoying similar coverage products like the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Foundation I knew I would get a lot of use out of this.
Sephora Retractable Brow Pencil
I use up brow pencils pretty quickly so I thought I would get this to save as a backup. What was great about the sale this time around was that all the Sephora Brand products were 30% no matter what tier you were in. With the 30% off this came to under $12.00 CAD so it was worth it to me to pick up. I’ve tried a Sephora brow pencil before which I really liked so I know I’ll enjoy this.
Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW® Gel
This is one of my favourite brow products. It works way better on me than the Benefit Gimme Brow because the gel is stronger at holding my brow hairs in place. I can use this on its own or with a pencil to really define my brows. I had used up a sample-size version of this by the time the sale came around and while I did have a full-size one I decided I’d get one as a backup because I’ll get through the opened one very fast.
MAC Cosmetics Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara
I love this mascara for applying to the lower lashes or when I want to get really close to the roots of my lashes. It’s a nice deep black and applies so well. I currently have one of these opened in my makeup kit that I was using quite a bit so, again, I figured I’d get a backup!
Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara
I probably didn’t need to get another mascara because honestly I have A LOT but I was really looking to try something new. This one had an interesting-looking brush which looked like a style I’d like because I want my mascara brush to lift my lashes. It had really good reviews too so I thought why not try.
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser
So this was the skincare item I purchased in the haul. If you’ve read my post on the First Aid Beauty cleanser (click here for the review) you’ll know that I absolutely love it and that I love this brand. This does an amazing job at removing makeup while being extremely gentle on the skin. I have a lot of cleansers in my stash at the moment but this is one of my favourites so I wanted to keep it around.
First Aid Beauty Clean, Smooth, & FAB set
This was a Sephora points redemption from their Rewards Bazaar. It was something that I really wanted to get after seeing what the set included. It had; Pure Skin Face Cleanser (won’t say no to more of these), Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration (will be so good for winter), KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA (will be great for my arms), Facial Radiance Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum (love me some more serums).
There you go! My second and final Sephora haul from the recent sale. While the first haul was new skincare items I wanted to try, this haul is mostly of things I’ve tried, loved, and wanted to get a backup of.
What do you think of these items? Have you tried any of them before?
Lots of Love,
