Makeup Eraser & ProCIV Reusable Pad Review

I received the Makeup Eraser in my Winter FabFitFun box. I had seen a lot of great reviews about this product so when I got it I was very excited to give it a try. Another item I had seen good reviews about that I wanted to share is the ProCIV Makeup Remover Pads from Amazon. I figured since they were both reusable cleansing products I would share my thoughts in one post.

Makeup Eraser

First, let’s talk about the Makeup Eraser (check it out here). I have only been using this for about a month and a half but it’s seriously become a staple product in my face cleansing routine. It has a long oval shape with soft fabric on both sides of the cloth. It’s large enough that I can use it 4-5 times before I need to wash it.

ReusableBeauty_LBL (4)

How I use this

I only need to use a small section of the cloth each time I use it so I mentally divide it into quarters and use each side on a different day. I might be able to use this a 5th or 6th time if I go back into the areas in between the quarters I did not use. I use this at the end of the day by dampening the cloth with warm water and gently rubbing it on my face. At first, I was worried I would tug at my skin too much but I’ve started to become comfortable with applying the right pressure to remove my makeup without tugging my face.

The cloth has different textures on each side. One side has short fibres for removing makeup and the other side has long ones for exfoliating.

ReusableBeauty_LBL (7)I use the short fibre side to remove all my makeup and cleanse my face and then flip to the other side to help exfoliate my skin to ensure everything is deeply cleansed. What’s great is that I don’t need to use any other products with this it does a good job on its own and I don’t have to rinse my face afterwards either.

Washing it

I don’t wash this between uses but I make sure that I hang it to completely dry so that it doesn’t start to smell. At the end of the week, I’ll just throw it into my washing machine with my other clothes and wash them all in a normal cycle. I then hang it to dry, I don’t put this in my dryer. I’ve machine washed this about 4 times now and the fibres and cloth have held up pretty well! Any dark makeup stains are completely lifted and the cloth itself remains soft and sturdy.

My Thoughts

I’ve been using this at the end of the day because it’s so quick and convenient for removing makeup. With there being dual sides, I can flip between the two fibre textures to cleanse my face and exfoliate it in one step. I might still use some makeup remover around my eyes if I’ve got a lot of makeup on around there but for the most part, it takes off all my other makeup with ease. I really enjoy this and extremely happy I received it in my FabFitFun box. You can find it at Sephora or on the Makeup Eraser website and I would highly recommend picking one up.

ProCIV Makeup Remover Pads

Another reusable item that I’ve been enjoying lately is the ProCIV Makeup Remover Pads I ordered from Amazon (check them out here). This came as a set of 16 and while there is an option to get all white pads, I went for the set with blue/green pads only because I know that white clothes tend to stain quicker for me when I use them to remove dark makeup such as eyeliner or mascara. There are a bunch of different sellers of similar products on Amazon but this one had high reviews so I figured I would try it.

ReusableBeauty_LBL (2)

How I use this

These are made with bamboo fabric which is soft. It has a double layer of thin fabric that’s been sewn together on the edge. It’s gentle by not flimsy. I would soak an area of the pads with micellar water and use one side of the pad to remove eyeliner and mascara and the other side to remove makeup on my face. These pads are great for removing face mask residue too.

What I personally like about the ProCIV Makeup Remover Pads is that they are large, about 3 inches in diameter. The pads are really large that I could easily use it to remove makeup from all over my face. I’m happy I chose a set that came in multiple colours because I could designate each colour for something different, ie blue cloth for eyes, green for face, white for nail polish removal etc. Currently, I’m only using this for my face but I could see how these could easily do everything I use my current cotton pads do.

ReusableBeauty_LBL (3)

Washing it

I keep the clean pads in a glass jar. I use one pad each day to remove my eye makeup and lipsticks/glosses. The set came with a draw-string mesh bag that I use to collect all the dirty pads into and then at the end of the week I throw the bag and its contents into the washing machine. After the wash, I’ve put these into the dryer and they come out great. The pads hold together well and I don’t see any changes in the fabric itself. They’ve gone through the washing machine a few times now since I’ve purchased them and they are still the same.

My thoughts

I’ll be honest. I was a bit skeptical about these pads because you can’t always trust the quality of the items you purchase from Amazon. I was nervous they might not be soft or would fall apart after a wash or two but they’ve been amazing so far! As much as I love my thick cotton pads that I purchase from Shiseido and Muji, I really wanted to make an effort, especially for 2020, to reduce my use of disposable one-time use items and go for reusable ones. These have completely replaced those cotton pads with ease. I would highly recommend them!

So there you have it! A little review of the Makeup Eraser and the ProCIV makeup Pads. Have you tried either of these products or something similar from other brands? What other reusable beauty products do you use?

Dal

Favourite Products of 2019

This year there were a lot of products that I enjoyed and I’m going to share a few of them here. For 2019, I was on a no-buy and that allowed me to really use up a lot of products that I have in my collection and figure out what I enjoyed. I also had a monthly Project Pan so that I could focus on using up some products in my stash too. I did a lot of decluttering and had lots of empty products. Overall, I was able to reduce the amount of makeup and skincare I had which really felt so good. It’s interesting because a year or two ago, I was obsessed with collecting and buying new beauty items and wanted to grow my collection. I think I started to find last year that I wasn’t as excited with new makeup as I was with re-discovering what I had.

Jacklyn Hill x Morphe Eyeshadow Palette

Faves2019_LBL (3)

I did a full review of this product which you can find here and I also featured this in my Project Pan for March which you can read the round-up of here. I even used it for my pretty pink makeup look. What I love about this palette is that I can open it up and create so many easy day looks, some elegant or smokey evening looks and some fun colourful looks. The shades work well all year long because you have some nice neutrals, pinks, oranges, blues, greens and even a purple.

Faves2019_LBL (4)

The formula is also pretty good. I was creating a blue eye shadow look with my Alyssa Edwards x Anastasia Palette and I couldn’t get the blue in that palette to work so I ended up creating the looking using mostly the Jacklyn Hill palette because that blue was so much easier to work with! I don’t get bored with this palette either. I loved this in 2019!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit – Volume 4

Faves2019_LBL (5)

I could go on and on about how I love how this palette looks on my skin so if you are curious about my thoughts on this take a look at my reviews here and here It’s so finely milled that it really takes on a second-skin effect rather than looking like powder on the face. I was hesitant at first to purchase the palette because it is very pricey and the only way I justified getting this was during the Sephora VIB Sale. This is one of the only palettes where I wear all the different pans of products. The face powder, highlight, bronzer and blushes all work so well together and work well on me. Plus, I’ve been using this almost daily for the past two months and I don’t see a dent in the pans! It’s really not cakey or powdery.

Garnier Skin Active BB Cream 5 in 1 Miracle Skin Perfecter

Faves2019_LBL (6)

I really love BB Creams. I am not really picky about what I use as long as it’s light in texture and is moisturizer. This one from Garnier works so well. You can read my review of this here. The texture feels whipped so it’s very light and airy on the skin. It helps even out my skin tone without being super heavy. It’s moisturizing too. Since receiving this in the summer I’ve worn it almost every day. I wore this a lot for work because it gave me enough coverage without looking overdone. I also enjoyed it on days that I was just running some errands because it helped me look awake without it being too much makeup that would feel like it clogged my pores. It was just a solid product that really was versatile for me this year.

Physicians Formula Super BB Instaready Bronzer

Faves2019_LBL (7)

Lastly, I wore this bronzer so much this year and it’s almost completely used up! This started off in my Project Pan in 2018 when I had chosen 18 products to use throughout the whole year. I broke it, put it back together and then continued to use it. You can see a review of this here. I found that I was reaching for this bronzer time and time again. This shade is light so it works with my skin tone and my love of more natural-looking makeup. I also like that it’s cool-toned so it didn’t look orange against my skin and also doubled as a contour.

Faves2019_LBL (8)

I love the formula because it’s finely milled and doesn’t have a lot of fall-out so I don’t have to worry if I go a bit heavy-handed with this. It is super easy to build up to my desired look. I originally was trying to use this up so I could move on to other bronzers but I think I might just repurchase this one instead because I know it works perfectly on me. Why change something that isn’t broken, right?

Faves2019_LBL (2)

All in all, these are some of the products I was loving in 2019. I did have other products I liked but I didn’t want this post to be too long so I focused on items I know I couldn’t go without in my collection and that I genuinely used all the time.

What are some of your favourite products that got a lot of love in 2019?

Lots of Love,
Dal

PS. Wishing you a happy new year!

Project Pan Monthly: May Roundup & June Items

Before it gets so much later into June I wanted to share my Project Pan Monthly update for May and share the items I’m going to focus on for June.  I feel like except for the first week of May I was very consistent with using my items. I had used my items 24/31 days by the end of the month.

In case you didn’t know, this is my Project Pan objective;

Project Pan Monthly

Each month I choose 4 items to use, sharing reviews of those products if they aren’t already on the blog. At the end of the month, I’ll share an update of how well I did and then list the items for the next month. The products are chosen from these categories;

  • One Eyeshadow Palette
  • One Lip Item (lipstick, lip balm, gloss, etc.)
  • One Face Item (foundation, highlighter, blush, bronzer)
  • One Random Item (can be another item from the categories above, or be something else like a mascara, liner, skin care, body care, fragrance, etc.)

May Round-Up

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (1)

I used the  Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Vol. II Palette so much this month, especially the lighter shades which I wore a lot for work. I even would do one sweep of certain colours for really easy looks. You can see that I used conch and marina the most. It’s a very crumbly shadow formula so that’s why it looks like chunks are missing, but it does go on the eyes smoothly.

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (3)

I also used the Vintage Cosmetics Illuminating Face Highlighter pretty often. I used it for highlighter and as a blush topper. There is so much of this product but you can start to see a little dip in the pan.

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (4)

I finished up my Bad gal Bang! Mascara which was pretty easy given that this is a deluxe sample. Still, I’m happy I was able to use it up. I didn’t use the Bobbi Brown lip gloss as much as I wanted to but I did try to use it every day even if I didn’t re-apply it throughout the day. I think I used up about one third of the product inside this little sample so I’m happy with that.

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (5)

My June Items

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (7)

This month I’ve chosen;

  • One Eyeshadow Palette – NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils & Eye Lingerie (reviewed here)
  • One Lip Item – Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL Lip Plumping Gloss
  • One Face Item – IBY Beauty Highlight & Contour Palette (reviewed here)
  • One Random Item – Victoria’s Secret Noir Love Me Body Mist

ProjectPan_June2019_LBL (12)

Instead of having an eye shadow palette this month, I decided to use some other eye items and do a Face Palette. I also wanted to use up another fragrance this month.

How is your progress been for Project Pan this month? Have you noticed a difference in your products?

Lots of Love,
Dal

Review, Shiseido Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother (discontinued)

I love Shiseido products so I was very excited to receive their Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother through Influenster. I thought it was a primer to wear under the skin at first and was excited about the “smoothing” part of it, but it’s actually a product you wear to help cover shine.

Although this item is discontinued, I’m going to share a review since this is part of my Project Pan Monthly for April.

ShiseidoIBukiSmoother_LBL4

What It Is

Skin-blurring filter for smooth, picture-perfect skin. I liken it to blotting paper but in liquid form.

Price

$29.00 CAD (20 mL) This is pricey for such a tiny little product. You don’t need much so at least it lasts long.

ShiseidoIBukiSmoother_LBL5

Application

The Smart Filtering Primer is very liquid so it spreads easily over the skin. I’ve tried it both over makeup and under makeup. Since it’s designed to reduce shine it does dry out my skin which partly why I don’t use it too often.

When I’ve worn it under makeup I found that it helps to smooth my skin, especially on my cheeks or forehead. It’s not the best on my nose which is the driest part of my face because I find it accentuated the dryness and made my foundation crack.

I know when I first received this I used it a lot in the summer to help keep my skin dry during the hot months. I am traveling at the end of this month so I’ll be taking this with me to help reduce sweat and shine on my face.

ShiseidoIBukiSmoother_LBL3

Over the last month, I’ve been wearing this over my makeup to help blend everything together and reduce some of the shine on my dewy foundations. I put a little drop onto my finger tips and then pat it over my cheeks and forehead.

This really isn’t for my dry skin but I have it so I will use it. I think if I had normal-oily skin I would enjoy this more.

Processed with VSCO with preset

My Thoughts

I don’t absolutely hate this, it just wasn’t made for me and my skin type. I’m using it for my Project Pan and trying it in the areas of my skin that do have more shine. I’ve also been applying it over my makeup to make it more matte. All in all, I think this is mostly just going to be best used in the summer.

Have you ever tried this product or something like it? What are your thoughts? Any ideas on how I might enjoy a product like this more? Let me know!

Lots of Love,
Dal

Unboxing BoxyCharm, March 2019

Price: $21.00 USD (+$5.00 shipping to Canada)
Number of items: 4-5 full-size items

Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box of full-size makeup, skincare and beauty tools. The theme for this month is “’la vie en rose”.

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL3

I think it’s a cute theme for spring and a lot of the items has rose gold packaging.

PRICES ARE IN USD, CONVERTED TO CAD AT THE END

CoverFX Perfector Face Palette
MSRP: $45.00 USD

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL10

I am loving the layout and colours in this face palette. It fits with my style and I like the colours in it. I like CoverFX products so I’m pretty excited to try this formula. The highlights are beautiful and the blush is a pretty pink that I would wear everyday.

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL11

The packaging feels very sturdy so I suspect it would be great for travel. The nice thing about taking this on the go is that you will have everything you need for the face in one place. I personally would even use the contour and bronze shade on my eyes.

Wander Beauty Lift off Purifying and Brightening Pell Off Mask
MSRP: $34.00 USD

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL6

This mask contains acai, goji berry, blueberry, lychee, mangosteen, kaolin clay and green tea extract all which are great items for the skin. I haven’t used a peel-off mask in a while but I am interested in trying one to purify and replenish my skin. What makes this mask interesting is that it is rose gold.

MODA Brushes Powder and Soft Glow Kit
MSRP: $29.99 USD

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL8

This is a 2-piece powder and highlight brush. They are really soft and fluffy brushes. I like the style of the brush handles too, the rose gold and tapered style makes them easy to hold and really fancy.

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL9

I have brushes that are similar so I might save them as a gift for a friend but I think they are fantastic brushes.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick
MSRP: $20.00 USD

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL5

These liquid lipsticks are creamy and soft in texture and are meant to be long-lasting and full colour. This colour is really pretty but it’s darker from what I would usually like to wear so I think I might save this for a friend who likes darker shades.

Manna Kadar Bloom Mascara
MSRP: $29.00 USD

BoxyCharmMarch2019_LBL7

I find it’s interesting that I’ve been receiving a lot of Manna Kadar products through my subscription boxes. They may have a marketing initiative to get more and more people to discover and test their products so they’ve decided to send a bunch to subscription box companies to increase their reach. This mascara looks really interesting. I mean the packaging is really cool, but it’s also formulated with a built-in primer. I didn’t open the packaging but if you are interested in what the brush looks like you can check out their website here. The brush is very interesting with long and short bristles which are supposed to ensure easy application without leaving any clumps.

My Thoughts

This is a really good box! I’m really excited to try the CoverFX palette because I generally like items that I’ve tried from this brand and the face palette looks so good. I’m also looking forward to testing out the mascara and peel-off mask.

Total Value: $157.99 USD ($212.44 CAD)

Did you get BoxyCharm this month? What was in your box?

Birthday Gifts, Increasing My Makeup Collection

I usually don’t share items that I get as gifts on my birthday as a dedicated post but since I’m on a no-buy this year I thought it would be fun to include them since I won’t be purchasing anything myself and posting any hauls. You might see some of these pop up on the blog later on as reviews or empties 🙂

Smashbox L.A. Cover Shot Eye Palette

Birthday2019_LBL (3)

I’ve reviewed the Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palettes before that you can read here. I have a total of 4 Cover Shot palettes in my collection and this new one makes 5! The original palettes have 8 shades but this one has 16 shades (9 mattes and 7 shimmers).

Birthday2019_LBL (5)

This seems to have good reviews online so I’m excited about this palette. I like that there is a range of looks you can create, from smokey to everyday to days when you want pops of colour!

Shoppers Drug Mart Eye Studio Sampler Mascaras

Birthday2019_LBL (10)

I love these sets as gifts for others so I’m really happy that I received this myself! Basically, you get 9 mascara samples to test out and a gift certificate to trade in for one full size mascara from the 9 you have tried.

Birthday2019_LBL (1)

It’s a great way to test out new mascaras. I know there are a few in here that I already love, but I am curious about testing out the one from Lise Waiter, Pur Cosmetics and Clarins!

Aveda Stress-Fix Body Lotion

Birthday2019_LBL (8)

I love the scent of lavender because it’s so calming. A friend of mine is always getting me this lotion because she knows I like to use it in the evenings before going to bed because the scent helps me relax before sleep. It’s also hydrating which is perfect for my dry skin!

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

Birthday2019_LBL (9)

This wasn’t necessarily a gift from a friend but more like a gift for myself from BoxyCharm. Through purchases and reviews on BoxyCharm you collect points which you can redeem on their website for makeup, skincare and tools. I had accumulated enough points to trade in for the Tatcha skin mist that I figured why not! I’m excited to give it a try as I know this has a lot of good reviews.

Your Quilt Creations Tripple Zipper Anything. Everything Pouch Bag

Birthday2019_LBL (6)

When I got this bag I immediately thought it would make a fantastic makeup bag for traveling. I love how there are little zipper and open compartments that can be used to store everything I might need to take with me on a trip. It has these great handles to carry around and it opens up super wide so you can see everything you have at a glance.

Birthday2019_LBL (7)

You may not know, but I’m obsessed with Batman and DC comics so I thought the design was super cute! I tried to find their store on Etsy and the web but had no luck, but I found them on Facebook. I really think it’s important to support local business owners and this bag is awesome!

Have you tried any of the items above? I’d love to know your thoughts.

Lots of Love,
Dal

Unboxing Topbox, November 2018

Price: $12.00 CAD (plus tax, free shipping) 4 items.

Topbox is a Canadian monthly beauty subscription service. Each month you have the option of getting a surprise box or to swap it for a prive box where all the products are from one brand or fall within a theme and you know what they are. This month Rexall was offering 3 different prive boxes. I opted for one of them and got it!

All prices in Canadian Dollars.

Physicians Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer
Full Size: $14.95 (30mL), Sample Size: $4.19 (8.4mL)

This is a universally flattering illuminating primer that blurs, corrects, and protects leaving you with a glow. I love illuminating primers because it makes my dry skin look radiant and I always enjoy the look of dewy skin. I might do a comparison of this with other primers I have that are meant to do the same thing.

Iman Cosmetics Luxury Lipstick in Scandalous
Full Size: $10.00 (3.7g), this is a full-size item

This is a creamy, semi-matte lip colour that offers full coverage and long-lasting smooth finish. The formula is creamy but not super smooth when I first applied it to my lips. I felt it drag a bit but it did offer full coverage. Once it was on it did feel really creamy. I’m the worst at applying lipstick straight from the tube, especially when it’s very opaque. Next time I will try it with a brush.

I love that this is bold red shade though, it will be perfect to wear around the holidays.

Almay Goddess Gloss in Rainbow
Full Size: 10.49 (0.96 oz), this is a full-size item

When I first saw this in the box I was a bit intimidated by the colour, it’s a very bright fuschia with iridescent silver glitter. I really wasn’t sure I was going to like this. When I applied it to my lips, it was a lot more wearable. It’s bright, yes, but not crazy bold. The base of the gloss looks a lot more sheer on the lips so you get a bit of the bright pink and the sparkles are a lot more subtle and just add sine.

You can wear this on it’s own or even on top of other lipsticks. I actually tried it on top of the Iman red lipstick and thought it looked pretty good. It has an interesting smell though. Almost like hot chocolate but a bit more on the sweet side. This is very comfortable on the lips. Usually glitter can feel gritty, but this one does not.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original
Sample Size: $5.99 (50ml)

Having dry hair, I don’t use dry shampoo all the time but that doesn’t mean I don’t like keeping a bottle around for when I do need it. Batiste dry shampoo is a staple in my vanity. I like always having one in my collection of hair products.

Earthsafe Hand & Body Lotion
Full Size: $7.99 (400mL), Sample Size: $0.90 (60mL)

Here’s a cold weather staple for me, hand and body lotion! My hands get really dry this time of year, so I always collect new hand lotions. When I saw that this was offered in the Prive box, I definitely wanted it because it saves me from having to purchase a large container and I’ll have the opportunity to test this out. This is formulated with a natural blend of essential oils that will leave your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.

Swatches

My Thoughts

This is a good selection of products! I really enjoy the Rexall curated boxes because then I can try items from the drug store that I normally wouldn’t imagine myself picking up, like the Almay lip gloss. The other items I know I will definitely use, such as the illuminating primer from Physician’s Formula, dry shampoo from Batiste and lotion from Earthsafe.

Total Value: $31.57

Did you get Topbox this month? What did you think of the November box?

Favourites from the Boxes, November 2018

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some favourites from my subscription boxes. I have so many items currently open in my collection that I need to get through so it’s been difficult to try products right as I get them every month. That being said, the items below are ones that I have been able to test and use over the last few weeks.

Pretty Vulgar Eye Liner
Received in Boxycharm May 2018

FavesFromBoxes_Oct2018 (3)

It has been a long time since I’ve used a gel liner and I’ve forgotten how much I really like them until I received this in my BoxyCharm. Before I became good at applying liquid liner I used gel all the time.

This one from Pretty Vulgar is a super deep black that dries matte fairly quickly. It’s very creamy and easy to apply. I really love this for creating a wing and for my waterline. I love this packaging! It looks like an old ink jar which is adorable.

Everything Balm by Cake Beauty
Received in Topbox September 2016

FavesFromBoxes_Oct2018 (8)

I’m so happy that this hasn’t gone bad! I got this a long time ago in Topbox, but it wasn’t until the weather started getting colder that I finally cracked it open. This is an everything balm, which you can use on your lips, cuticles, cracked skin, eyebrows, split ends, etc. It’s pretty emollient which makes it easy to spread over the areas you want to hydrate.

FavesFromBoxes_Oct2018 (9)

I’ve applied this on my lips and cuticles to help them from drying out. Usually, items from Cake Beauty are strongly scented, but not this guy. It has a nice cream scent that is not overbearing. This is a gem for the colder months! It reminds me a lot of my favourite ointment, the Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm but this one by Cake Beauty is a lot more creamy and I can easily find this at my local Shoppers Drug Mart Store.

Aesthetica P12 Face Brush
Received in BoxyCharm May 2018

FavesFromBoxes_Oct2018 (6)

This super fluffy domed brush is one that I have been using whenever I want to lightly dust powder all over my face. This could also work perfectly for blush.

FavesFromBoxes_Oct2018 (7)

I love that the bristles are long, flexible and soft and the dome shape helps disperse powder evenly. I use this way more than I did my other powder brushes so I know it’s good.

Well, there they are! Some of the items from my beauty boxes that have really been standing out to me. Have you been enjoying any items from your subscription boxes?

Farmacy Beauty Bright On Mask (made exclusively for BoxyCharm)
MSRP: $38.00 USD

20180715_182414

OH WOW! I’ve always wanted to try Farmacy Beauty but their products are so expensive! Luckily I get to test it out now with this mask. This is a vitamin C clay mask that turns from purple to green. This helps to remove impurities and buildup while improving skin’s brightness. I’ve been needing something like this for my skin because I have been breaking out lately.

Crown Brush Fuego Eyeshadow Collection
MSRP: $29.99 USD

20180715_182815

The pan sizes of this palette are pretty large and it does carry some weight (it’s 20g Net). Now, I’ll be honest, as someone who has a lot of palettes this one isn’t too exciting for me.

The warm tones are beautiful and I did see some positive reviews for the palette but it’s not exciting for me. It would be something I would save to gift a friend who I know doesn’t have the same amount of makeup as I do.

Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara
MSRP: $24.00 USD

20180715_182450

I love mascaras with curved wands because they work the best on my lashes. I actually like the tube style packaging because then I can get to all the product inside.

This has ingredients to condition and moisturize the lash. It’s also supposed to be clump-free, flake-free, smudge-proof finish and won’t dry out. I can’t wait to test it out!

Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Compact Blusher
MSRP: $11.99 USD

20180715_182632

This is designed to work for all skin types, it’s a luminous, paraben free blush. This is a really nice compact. It comes with a cute little brush. This has argan oil.

I do really like the colour of this blush. It’s a pretty rose shade that I think will look very nice on.

Chella Beauty Eyebrow Cream in Tantalizing Taupe
MSRP: $26.00 USD

20180715_182753

I am loving this compact packaging. This is as big as a lip gloss but inside is a brush and eyebrow cream.  It’s actually great for on the go.

20180715_182733

I think this colour will work really well with my hair colour because it is a bit more cool tone. I usually don’t use eyebrow creams but ever since trying Clinque’s Pretty Easy Powder Brow product and liking it, I’m open to trying new formulas. You can see my review of Clinque’s Brow Product here.

My Thoughts

Except for the eyeshadow palette which I will save for someone else, I’m so excited for everything in this box especially the Farmacy Mask because my skin needs it.  I think the brow cream will be great for travelling and The blush could really work on my skin tone.

Did you BoxyCharm this month? What was in your box?

Lots of love,
